Before joining North Shore Law he served clients through in-house roles with major insurance companies, as well as private practice—putting his litigation skills to work for individual and corporate clients.

RJ is committed to his community, and is a board member for Capilano University and for Seniors First B.C. He also serves as the chair of the Litigation Subsection (Vancouver) of the Canadian Bar Association B.C. Branch. He sits on the national executive committee for equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives with Canadian Defence Lawyers, and is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of B.C.
